Update (September 17): Surrey RCMP stated that Daniel Froehlich has been located and is safe.

Police and family are seeking to locate a male teenager who has not been seen or heard from since for almost a week.

Daniel Froehlich was last seen at the Surrey Central Bus Loop at 10 p.m. on September 10.

He is described as a 15-year-old male who is 173 centimetres (five-feet, eight-inches) tall with a slim build.

He has brown, curly hair and was last seen wearing a red t-shirt and blue jogging pants.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers, to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477.
