Updated: missing 17-year-old Chilliwack male, last seen on August 20, has been located

      Update (September 23): Upper Fraser Valley RCMP announced that Lorenz Jeffrey Pentz has been located and is safe.

      Police and family members are seeking to locate a teenager from Chilliwack who hasn’t been seen for a month and may need medical assistance.

      According to an Upper Fraser Valley RCMP news release issued today (September 20), a family member last saw Lorenz Jeffrey Pentz in the morning of August 20 in the 46000 block of Yale Road in Chilliwack.

      He is described as a 17-year-old white male who is 188 centimetres (six-feet, two-inches) tall and weighs 75 kilograms (166 pounds). He has brown eyes and brown hair.

      Upper Fraser Valley RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Mike Rail stated that Pentz may be in need of medical attention.

      Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
