Update: Coquitlam RCMP announced on October 8 that Jong Park has been located. 

Coquitlam RCMP are searching for a 47-year-old man and are warning citizens to call police, instead of approaching him, if he is spotted.

Jong Park was last seen at 10:30 a.m. on October 2 and was reported missing to police on October 3.

Coquitlam RCMP stated in a news release that they are concerned for his well-being and would like to speak to him.

He is described as an Asian male who has short black hair and brown eyes. He is 176 centimeters (five-feet, eight-inches) tall with a slender build,.

He may be wearing a green and yellow military-style coat.

He drives a 2013 brown Nissan Juke with B.C. license plate129WNW.

Coquitlam RCMP stated in a news release that anyone who sees him or his vehicle should not approach him but instead call local police.
