A music instructor who was arrested due to alleged sexual offences involving minors has been charged.

Allegations against 22-year-old Lamar Victor Alviar of Vancouver were reported to have taken place in Coquitlam.

Alviar runs L.A. Music Studio, a music business in North Vancouver. The allegations involved both students and non-students.

After Coquitlam RCMP released his name and photo on August 22 in search of other victims or witnesses, several witnesses contacted police.
