Updated: missing 13-year-old female from Surrey has been located

      Update: Surrey RCMP stated at 3:28 p.m. that Angelica Ramos Mejia has been located and is safe.

      Surrey RCMP and family members are concerned about a female teenager who has gone missing.

      Angelica Ramos Mejia hasn’t been seen or heard from since she was last seen at 10 p.m. on October 10 near Greenock Place and 88th Avenue in the Whalley area of Surrey.

      According to Surrey RCMP, it is out of character for her to remain out of contact for this length of time.

      She is described as a Hispanic female who is 145 centimetres (four-feet, nine-inches) tall with a slim build and black hair.

      She was last seen wearing a black sweater and black pants, and had a black Nike backpack.

      Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502, or Crime Stoppers, to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477.
