After a video capturing a fight in North Vancouver began circulating online, RCMP is seeking to speak with any involved parties or witnesses.

North Vancouver RCMP issued a news release today (October 18) to confirm that they are investigating a report of an assault at a McDonald’s outlet in Lynn Valley on October 17.

RCMP stated that after investigators became aware of a social-media post with a video that could provide evidence for the case, they began trying to identify the source of the video.

CBC News posted an article today (October 18) that includes a video taken by a bystander that depicts an altercation between a security guard fighting with a teenage girl outside a McDonald’s at Lynn Valley Centre shopping mall.

Investigators are seeking to speak with any unidentified remaining parties who were involved as well as with any witnesses or anyone who has video recordings of the incident.

North Vancouver RCMP also stated that to protect the integrity of the investigation, they are not releasing any further details at this time.
