Update: The New Westminster Police Department announced at 12:41 p.m. today (November 4) that Danielle Fayant has been safely located.

Family and police are searching for a 44-year-old woman from New Westminster who hasn’t been seen for a week and didn’t attend work.

According to the New Westminster Police Department (NWPD), Danielle Fayant was last seen around 8 p.m. on October 28 at a pub in North Vancouver with a colleague.

When she didn’t show up for work on November 1, her colleagues became concerned. As her last known address is in New Westminster, a missing person report was filed with the New Westminster Police Department.

She is described as a white female who is 160 centimetres (five-feet, three-inches) tall with brown hair.

“Our investigators have been working with her family and colleagues, and partnering agencies in an attempt to locate her, but so far her whereabouts is unknown,” NWPD Sgt. Jeff Scott stated in a news release. “Ms. Fayant was said to be in good spirits when she was with her colleagues, but given that she has not been seen in several days, we’re seeking the public’s assistance to help locate her to ensure her well-being.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the New Westminster Police at 604-525-5411.
