Video has surfaced of a Remembrance Day attack in a strip mall in the 7000 block of 128th Street in Surrey.
A group of men, some carrying metal pipes, are seen charging on foot toward a bunch of vehicles around 2:30 a.m.
One of the cars could not get away and it was repeatedly struck.
Two people appear to have been assaulted.
It's prompted an RCMP investigation.
“While this incident and video is disturbing, having such a wide distribution could potentially help police further our investigation and identify those involved,” Cpl. Elenore Sturko said in a statement.
Surrey Mayor Doug McCallum described the mob violence as "repugnant".
"It is imperative that the RCMP take immediate and strong action," he said.
