Updated: Missing 45-year-old man from Keremeos located

      B.C. RCMP are concerned about the well-being of a man from the B.C. Interior who has gone missing and may be heading to Coastal B.C.

      Keremeos RCMP stated in a news release on November 27 that 45-year-old Martin Briere was last seen on November 24.

      He may have left the Keremeos area and could be travelling to either the Sunshine Coast or Vancouver Island in his black 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara with B.C. licence plate JS7 99M.

      He may also be accompanied by his large Newfoundland-Mastiff cross dog with him.

      Briere is described as a white male who is 175 centimetres (five-feet, nine-inches) tall and weighs 73 kilograms (160 pounds). He has brown and grey hair and green eyes.

      He speaks with a strong French accent.

      Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact their local police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
