Updated: missing 18-year-old female from Nanaimo last seen on November 24 has been located

      Update: Nanaimo RCMP announced at 9:27 a.m. on November 29 that Briana Fisher has been located.

      A Vancouver Island female teenager hasn’t been seen since Sunday, prompting concerns from police and relatives.

      Briana Fisher, who is 18 years old, left her residence in south Nanaimo on Vancouver Island on November 24 and did not return.

      After investigative efforts failed to locate her, her family and caregivers have become extremely concerned about her safety and well-being.

      Fisher is described as an Indigenous female who is 175 centimetres (five-feet, nine-inches) tall with long black hair featuring red streaks.

      She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie (with DC displayed on the front), a black jacket, black jeans, and Jordan runners.
