Vancouver firefighters managed to put out a house fire fairly quickly this morning on Marine Drive near Argyle Street.

      Nobody was injured.

According to CBC video journalist Gian Paolo Mendoza, six people were forced out and had to find alternative accommodation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

It's the second fire in the Marine Drive area within a couple of weeks.

Early in the morning on November 20, a three-alarm fire occurred in a 19-unit apartment building close to Heather Street in Marpole.

It sent one person to hospital.

There's no evidence linking that fire to the blaze that occurred this morning.
