Langley RCMP continuing investigation into Aldergrove shooting on November 21

      Langley RCMP provided an update on an investigation into a shooting in Aldergrove that took place last month.

      Prior to 6 a.m. on November 21, Langley RCMP responded to a report of a shooting in the 26900 block of 48th Avenue in Aldergrove.

      Officers found a 47-year-old male who had sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

      Langley RCMP stated in a news release that investigators believe the incident to be a targeted shooting.

      On December 4, Langley RCMP stated that the investigation is continuing on and as they continue to believe that there isn’t a danger to the public due to the targeted nature of the incident.

      However, RCMP have continued to maintain police presence near the property and have installed surveillance cameras for public safety.
