Pedestrian suffers serious injuries in hit and run on East Side of Vancouver

      Vancouver police are seeking the public's help to solve a hit and run.

      A 51-year-old male pedestrian suffered serious injuries and is still in hospital after being struck by a vehicle near Kaslo and Franklin streets.

      The collision occurred just after 7 p.m. on November 29.

      “Despite a lengthy and ongoing investigation, investigators have yet to identify the driver and vehicle involved,” Const. Tania Visintin said in a news release. “VPD are now appealing to the driver, and anybody with information to come forward.”

      Anyone with dash-cam video along Kaslo or Renfrew streets between McGill and Hastings streets or along Hastings between Kaslo or Renfrew between 7 and 7:15 p.m. on November 29 is being asked to contact the VPD collision investigative unit at 604-717-9360.
