Woman arrested after stabbing man in Maple Ridge

      Yesterday, police arrested a female suspect after a dispute in Maple Ridge turned into physical conflict.

      Around 12:45 p.m. on December 9, Ridge Meadows RCMP received a call about an alleged stabbing in the 11600 block of 224th Street in Maple Ridge.

      Officers found man with minor injuries, who was treated at the scene by emergency health services and who refused to go to the hospital.

      Police determined that an altercation escalated until a woman stabbed the man.

      Officers arrested the female suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed.

      Ridge Meadows RCMP stated that it is an isolated incident and the investigation is continuing on.
