There appears to have been another murder in Surrey.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been summoned to a house in the 2200 block of 152nd Street, where a man was found dead shortly before 9:30 p.m. on December 23.

The man's name has not been released.

"Early indications are that the incident was contained to the inside of the residence and that there is no ongoing threat to the public," Surrey RCMP said in a news release.
