He has a pale complexion and is about 178 centimetres (five-feet, 10-inches) tall with a medium build. He has white hair, facial hair, and yellow teeth. At the time, he was wearing a grey t-shirt and blue jeans.

This incident occurred one day after Whistler RCMP issued a warning that a male suspect attempted to lure a nine-year-old boy into his blue sedan-type vehicle with a promise of candy and a ride.

Back in December, Kelowna RCMP were investigating three reports of child-abduction attempts that took place in late November and early December.

On November 27, an 11-year-old girl reported being asked by a male suspect in a blue four-door sedan in West Kelowna to get into the backseat of his vehicle. On December 18, police released a composite sketch of the suspect who is described as being possibly in his mid-40s with tanned skin, a heavy build, possibly bald, a white bearded chin, and was wearing small circular silver glasses.

West Kelowna RCMP released this composite sketch of a male suspect connected to a child-luring incident on November 27.

Then on December 1, a 10-year-old girl reported that a male driver in a silver vehicle offered her a ride near Barona Beach. The male suspect was described as appearing to be his 30s; being dark-skinned with a possible South Asian accent; and had dark hair, bushy eyebrows, a large nose, and a beard and mustache. Kelowna RCMP stated on December 18 that they located this suspect and followed up with him but criminality has not been proven and charges are not pending.

On December 2, a male driver asked a 15-year-old youth reported to get into his red minivan in West Kelowna. This male suspect is described as a white male who appeared to be in his 30s with a full beard and no mustache.

Kelowna RCMP were unable to confirm if there are connections between these incidents.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
