Local police in Metro Vancouver are seeking assistance in locating a 34-year-man wanted for assaults that took place in 2015.

Ridge Meadows RCMP stated in a news release today (January 13) that Ricky Korasak and two men were allegedly involved in the stabbing of two other men in the 22200 block of Lougheed Highway in Maple Ridge around 2:30 a.m. on August 23, 2015.

On December 5, 2019, provincial court approved charges against Korasak for accessory to attempted murder and accessory to aggravated assault. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Despite attempts to arrest him, Ridge Meadows RCMP have been unable to locate him.

Korasak is described as an Asian male who is 173 centimetres (five-feet, eight-inches) tall and weighs 168 pounds (76 kilograms).

He has a tattoo that says “LAOS” on his right forearm.

As Korasak is considered dangerous, anyone who sees him should not approach him but should call 911 immediately.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604-463-6251. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
