Updated: Missing 82-year-old man from Sechelt located in Vancouver

      Updated: Sunshine Coast announced on January 14 that Arthur Shaw has been located in Vancouver.

      An 82-year-old man from the Sunshine Coast has gone missing and he may be in Metro Vancouver.

      Sunshine Coast RCMP stated today (January 14) that Arthur Shaw was last seen in Sechelt on December 30.

      According to RCMP, Shaw is dependent on shelters for housing and possibly has dementia.

      He is described as a white male with a frail build who is approximately 168 centimetres (five-feet, six-inches) tall with blue eyes, long grey hair, and a long beard.

      He frequently travels to Vancouver and may be in the Downtown Eastside.

      Anyone who has seen Shaw on the Sunshine Coast, B.C. Ferries, or transit after December 30 is asked to contact Sunshine Coast RCMP at 604-885-2266.
