RCMP investigating series of thefts from vehicles and homes in Hope, B.C.

      The cold weather hasn't stopped thieves from striking.

      Upper Fraser Valley RCMP stated in a news release today (January 16) that a series of thefts from homes and vehicles in Hope, B.C., took place on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, and police are seeking any further relevant information.

      On January 15, Hope RCMP received reports about overnight break-and-enters at two residences and thefts from two vehicles, one in the 21000 block of Mount Hope Road and another in the 65000 block of Dogwood Drive.

      Investigators are seeking for any security footage of images of suspicious individuals or vehicles in the Kawkawa Lake area from January 14 to 15.

      Hope RCMP Cst. Andrew Barr also stated that any other thefts from a vehicle in the area should be reported.
