Missing 22-year-old West Vancouver male last seen in Chilliwack may be heading to Calgary or the U.S.

      Family members and police are concerned about the well-being of a 22-year-old male from West Vancouver who has gone missing.

      The West Vancouver Police Department (WVPD) stated today (January 20) that Mohammad Yazi-Samadi left his home in West Vancouver on January 16. He was last seen in Chilliwack on January 17 but his current whereabouts are unknown.

      He is believed to be travelling east towards Calgary, or he may be heading to the United States.

      The WVPD stated that he has mental-health concerns.

      Yazi-Samadi is described as being 165 centimetres (five-feet, five-inches) tall and weighing 65 kilograms (143 pounds). He has brown eyes and short (buzz-cut) black hair.

      He had been last seen wearing a dark rain jacket, jeans, and dark boots.

      Anyone with information about Yazi-Samadi is asked to contact police immediately.
