Vancouver police issued another plea for help in locating irreplacable First Nations belongings stolen in Downtown Vancouver.

On January 15, Lake Babine Nation singers and drummers discovered that over 30 child and adult regalia and drums in their van that was parked in the 600 block of Richards Street at Pender Street had been stolen.

CBC News reported that the group had travelled to Vancouver to perform at the Gathering Wisdom forum First Nations health event at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Two pieces were recovered after a Downtown Eastside community organization reported the items appearing on their premises.

On January 20, the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) stated on social media that as they are continuing on with their investigation, they are seeking to speak with anyone who has information about this case.
