Vancouver police are seeking help in locating a 70-year-old man who has gone missing.

Tao Ping Lee was last seen at 11 a.m. on January 21 near Victoria Drive and East 43rd Avenue in East Vancouver.

Lee is described as an Asian male who is 160 centimetres (five-feet, three-inches) tall with a medium build and short black hair.

When he was last seen, he was wearing a blue jacket, dark pants, shoes too big for his feet, and possibly a hat.

He only speaks Cantonese and cannot speak English, and he is known to frequent Chinatown.

As he has dementia, he may appear confused or lost.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911 and remain with him until first responders arrive.
