After police arrested an alleged pimp in Montreal earlier this week, investigators are now seeking to determine if there are any other victims who may be not only in Quebec but also in British Columbia.

The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SVPM) stated today (January 30) that the Équipe intégrée de lutte contre le proxénétisme (EILP) arrested 24-year-old Sergei Klenovski on January 27 for engaging in the sexual exploitation of a 20-year-old woman.

On January 28, Klenovski appeared at the Montréal Courthouse to face eight counts including human trafficking, procuring, sexual assault, threats, and use of a weapon.

The SVPM stated that investigators believe there may be other victims, including in Quebec and B.C.

Police describe him as a male who is 1.74 metres (five-feet, nine-inches) tall and weighs 68 kilograms (150 pounds) with chestnut hair.

Anyone who may have been a victim or knows a potential victim is asked to visit their local police station.
