Investigators are seeking public assistance in identifying a couple involved in fraudulent activity in the Fraser Valley.

The Abbotsford Police Department (APD) stated today (February 4) that at 9:37 p.m. on January 25, two suspects entered the Real Canadian Superstore located at 2855 Gladwin Road in Abbotsford.

They were allegedly seen switching tags on several products in the store and then went to the check-out with the price-swapped items.

When a store employee confronted the couple in the parking lot, the male suspect pulled out a knife and threatened staff.

The couple left the shopping cart with the merchandise behind and were last seen leaving the parking lot in a dark-coloured vehicle.

Anyone who recognizes either of these two suspects is asked to contact the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
