It was standing room only (and barely that) at the Vancouver Whitecaps’ Gastown store on Wednesday night as the team unveiled its new Adidas-approved jersey, which the team is calling The Wave.

Fans clamoured over one another to get a sneak peek at the jerseys and grab autographs from Whitecaps players Ali Adnan, Hwang In-beom and newcomer Lucas Cavallini.

It seems excitement is building for the new season as the team, under a new CEO in Mark Pannes, tries to put a tough last year behind them.

They’ll look good on the field this season, at least literally.
