Surrey RCMP seize loaded shotgun from 18-year-old suspected drug trafficker

      After searching a residence in Surrey, police arrested a suspected teenage drug trafficker.

      Surrey RCMP stated on February 5 that during an investigation into unlawful weapons possession, officers used a search warrant at a residence in the 14800 block of 107A Avenue on January 29.

      At the location, police seized a loaded shotgun, small amounts of suspected narcotics, and drug-processing and packaging materials related to drug-trafficking.

      Officers arrested an 18-year-old male at the residence who was later released.

      No charges have been laid yet but the investigation remains ongoing.
