Friends, family, and police are concerned about the well-being of a 54-year-old woman who has disappeared from New Westminster.
The New Westminster Police Department stated today (February 20) that Moneca Remillard was last seen around 9:40 a.m. on February 19 near Royal Columbian Hospital (330th East Columbia Street) in New Westminster.
She is described as a white female who is 178 centimetres (five-feet, 10-inches) tall and weighs approximately 57 kilograms (125 pounds). She has shoulder-length curly hair.
When she was last seen, she was wearing a light-blue ball cap, a red jacket over a light-coloured sweater, blue jeans, and brown hiking boots.
The NWPD stated that as she doesn’t have transportation or housing resources, she could be camping in local parks or may be on trails.
Anyone who knows of her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
