Surrey RCMP seek to identify bank robbery suspect

      After a bank robbery took place in the Fleetwood area of Surrey, investigators are asking for help in identifying a suspect.

      Surrey RCMP stated today (February 25) that around noon on February 8, officers responded to a report about a robbery at a bank in the 15900 block of Fraser Highway.

      An unidentified male suspect entered the bank, told employees that he had a weapon, and demanded cash.

      After employees gave him a sum of cash, he then fled from the premises.

      The suspect is described as a black male who appears to be between 20 to 30 years old and is about 183 centimetres (six-feet) tall with a medium build.
