Vancouver police are seeking dash-cam video after a pedestrian was seriously injured at the north end of the Burrard Bridge.

Around 3 a.m., a 20-year-old man was in the traffic lane, walking in the southbound lane.

According to police, a vehicle swerved to avoid him and collided with another vehicle. The other vehicle then struck the pedestrian, who was rushed to hospital in serious condition.

Police have ruled out speed and alcohol as factors in the crash.

This occurred about nine hours after a collision in East Vancouver sent three people to hospital. Two children in one of the vehicles have serious injuries, according to Global B.C. News.

It occurred at Grandview Highway and Nanaimo Street.

No names have been released in either incident.
