NBA season suspended due to COVID-19

Less than a week after NBA star LeBron James said he wouldn't play in games without fans (he's since walked back those comments), the top professional basketball league in the world has suspended its season.

The news comes after a scheduled game between the Utah Jazz and the Oklahoma City Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena in OKC, in which Rudy Gobert of the visiting Jazz tested positive for COVID-19

Jazz and Thunder players were quarantined as police shut down the arena.

It's not yet known how the NBA plans to proceed with its season.

Gobert is currently being lit up on social media (and rightfully so) for poking fun at concern around the virus.
