Family and friends are concerned about a 39-year-old man on Vancouver Island whose whereabouts remain unknown.

Nanaimo RCMP stated today (March 23) that James Robillard hasn’t been in touch with his family for over a month.

Due to this length of time coupled with the fact that he has been struggling with some personal issues had made his family and friends “very worried” about his safety and well-being.

He is described as a white male who is 188 centimetres (six-feet, two-inches) tall and weighs 91 kilograms (200 pounds).

He is currently of no fixed address but is known to spend time between Nanaimo and Ladysmith. He also has friends at a supportive housing unit on Labieux Road. However, investigators did not find him there despite checking on several occassions.

Anyone with information on his location is asked to call the non-emergency line of the Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
