Vancouver police say the death of a man whose body was found inside a house fire is the city’s third homicide of the year.

Edward Stobie Billy, 20, has been identified as the victim, police announced in a news release today (June 28).

The fire happened on the evening of June 15 at a house in the 900 block of East 63rd Avenue.
