More radioactive water leaks from Fukushima reactor

It's not the Christmas present that residents of northwestern Japan were hoping for.

The Asahi Shimbun newspaper reported today that Tokyo Electric Power Corp. has revealed that "225 tons of radioactive rainwater likely leaked from cracks in the barriers surrounding storage tanks at the crippled Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant".

It appears to be the largest leak from the tank barriers since a March 11, 2011, earthquake and tsunami devastated the facility.

The water has seeped into the soil, according to the newspaper.

The power company released the news on Christmas Eve.

I'm not worried about global warming which I believe is just a scam. I am truly worried about FUKUSHIMA.

Of course just to mock us about how they are doing nothing to fix it, Japan is idiotically going to waste trillions of yen on the Olympic in 2020.

Calling Dr Suzuki. Where are you when we really need you?

Japanese government watching international media coverage over Fukushima issue / Le Monde, Washington Post, Guardian etc..
      Fukushima Diary

The contaminated water management team of Japanese government is watching the international media coverage to control.
From the material of their latest meeting of 12/18/2013, they discussed how the international media covered Fukushima issue after this August.

For example, they picked up the article of Le Monde on 8/27/2013 that Japanese government remains passive to Fukushima issue but more forward to restart other nuclear plants or export it.
Also, the article of the Washington Post on 10/22/2013 was picked up that the contaminated water is affecting the wildlife and the food chain, least Japanese people believe the government to say controlled discharge is safe.

It is likely that they discussed the future countermeasures for the media coverage.

Why aren't we hearing anything about discussions with other Nuclear Engineers and professionals that were finally invited to get involved to button this monster up?

Stephen, how dare you allude to lack of clarity on such a trivial issue.
