Vancouver police are on the lookout for more victims of random attacks.

This comes after reports of several people being assaulted by a stranger on Wednesday afternoon (January 6) near International Village Mall.

Police say that just after noon, a 68-year-old woman was pushed to the ground after leaving the Costco near Stadium Station.

Later, a man pushed a 39-year-old woman to the ground on Abbott Street. Later, a third victim, a 20-year-old man, was shoulder-checked.

The trio suffered minor injuries. Other calls came into 9-1-1 saying a man was attacking and spitting at people, which leads the VPD to believe there are more victims.

A 41-year-old man, Michael Vallis, has been taken into custody.
