Ontario judge William Horkins ruled last week that former broadcaster Jian Ghomeshi had to be acquitted because the Crown didn't prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt.

But that didn't stop hundreds of people from marching down Commercial Drive today to express support for his three accusers.

The "I Believe Survivors" demonstration began at 12:30 at Commercial-Broadway Station.

"This is a march in solidarity with the victims of this trial who stepped forward, asked for justice and received none," the group's Facebook page says. "This is a march for all the victims of sexual violence who are kept silent. We believe you. We believe you."
