How interesting. People who are interested in having a fiscally responsible rational government that cares about the future more than F35s should be thinking about how and what to do for the next federal election. Libby's riding is as safe an NDP riding as it gets, but do you think that the NDP can win the next federal election? Or is strategic voting too cynical, and people should vote for the party that they actually prefer? Lots to think about....
In the meantime, many thanks to Libby for her decades of public advocacy.

She's either ill or, more likely, at odds with Frency Mulcaire's swing to the political middle.

RUK - The first thing Justin Trudeau and Tom Mulcair need to do is address the events of the coalition/prorogation episode from five years ago and remind voters that they elect a PARLIAMENT, not a government, and that it's whatever party OR COALITION OF PARTIES that can successfully test the confidence of the House of Commons that gets to govern. Harper's gutless backstabbing of parliamentary democracy has hoodwinked too many Canadians into believing that cooperation among political parties is illegitimate, as opposed to the 'legitimacy' of the elected dictatorship of a majority government.
Let the system work the way it's supposed to, not the way Republican Conservatives and their ignorant enablers think it should.
