The B.C. Liberals' safest seat in Vancouver is on the southwest side of the city.

And true to form, Advanced Education Minister Andrew Wilkinson has opened up a huge lead with just seven of 79 ballot boxes reporting results.

He has 57.09 percent of the vote, compared to just 26.52 percent for his NDP opponent, Madeline Lalonde.

Wilkinson has 648 votes; Lalonde has 301, and the Greens' Michael Barkusky has 171 votes.

With just two of 91 ballot boxes counted, Attorney General Suzanne Anton is trailing her NDP opponent in Vancouver-Fraserview.

Former Vision Vancouver city councillor George Chow has 108 votes compared to 80 for Anton.

The B.C. Liberals are leading in 39 constituencies and the NDP is ahead in 27.
