Arguments break out over Twitter after arrest of convoy organizer Tamara Lich
There's an amusing sidelight to last night's arrest of right-wing activist Tamara Lich in Medicine Hat, Alberta. And that's how it's prompting social-media fights across the country. (See below.)
According to lawyer Keith Wilson, the co-organizer of Freedom Convoy 2022 was taken into custody on the afternoon of June 27.
"We are awaiting further details but we currently understand it relates to her bail conditions," Wilson tweeted.
CBC News has reported that Wilson previously represented Lich in noncriminal matters.
CTV's Mackenzie Gray speculated that it could be in connection with Lich meeting another convoy activist, Tom Marazzo, when she accepted a Justice Centre for Freedoms award in Ontario.
