Canucks get first crack at the Kraken on September 26
Maybe the Seattle Kraken is your new favourite team in the NHL. Or maybe you can't wait to see the Vancouver Canucks wipe the ice with them.
Either way, there's definitely a rivalry brewing.
The Kraken announced today that they will play their first ever NHL preseason game on September 26, and it'll be against the Canucks.
Unfortunately for Vancouver-area fans hoping to make the drive south, the game won't be played at the new Climate Pledge Arena, the Kraken's home rink in Seattle.
They'll have to travel all the way to the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena, home of the WHL's Spokane Chiefs.
(Or they could just chill out and wait until the Kraken head here for a game at Rogers Arena on October 5.)
Tickets for the game in Spokane go on sale July 16 at noon at ticketswest.com.
