The president of the United States will be spending the next few days at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

This was revealed this afternoon by the White House, about 15 hours after Donald Trump revealed that he and his wife had tested positive for COVID-19.

He walked out of the White House on his own wearing a mask. He did not talk to reporters.

Trump is 74 years old and overweight, which elevates his risk of complications from contracting the novel coronavirus.

"I think I'm doing very well but we're going to make sure that things work out," Trump said in the video below. "The First Lady is doing very well."
