High-risk child sex offender to live in Chilliwack area: Fraser Valley RCMP

      B.C. RCMP issued a public notification that a convicted sex offender is now living in the Fraser Valley.

      Upper Fraser Valley RCMP announced on July 23 that 61-year-old James Leo Gracie, who is also known as Finn McInnis, completed his longterm supervision order on April 17 and is residing in the Chilliwack area.

      He had been convicted of sexual offences against children, including sexual assault and forcible confinement.

      Upper Fraser Valley RCMP stated that he “poses a high risk to re-offend”.

      He is described as a white male who is 188 centimetres (six-feet, two-inches) tall and weighs 80 kilograms (176 pounds). He has hazel eyes and brown hair.

      He also has several tattoos: Slim Jim and a rattlesnake on his right arm; a heart with leaves on his left arm; and a heart on his upper left arm.
