There's been another incident of gunfire south of the Fraser River.

This morning, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team tweeted that a female shooting victim has died.

The incident occurred last night in the Guildford neighbourhood of Surrey.

      No names have been released.

      IHIT is investigating.

Two days ago, a 19-year-old man died after being shot on April 30. On that day, he showed up in a Surrey hospital with a gunshot wound.

On May 1, a 29-year-old B.C. corrections officer, Bikramdeep Randhawa, was gunned down outside Scottsdale Centre at the corner of 72nd Avenue and 120th Street in North Delta.

Investigators are wondering if it could be a case of mistaken identity because Randhawa had not had any previous dealings with police.
