Jury finds Charles Kembo guilty on four counts of first-degree murder

Charles Kembo has been convicted of four counts of first-degree murder by a B.C. Supreme Court jury.

The Richmond resident faces a minimum of 25 years in jail without parole.

His first victim was his wife, Margaret Kembo, who went missing in October 2002 and whose body has never been found.

Kembo's second victim was his business partner, Arden Samuel, who was strangled in November 2003.

Samuel's penis was cut off and stuffed in his pocket as part of a scheme to trick police into thinking it was a racially motivated crime. Samuel was of African descent, and the killer left racist notes at the crime scene.

The remains of Kembo's 45-year-old former girlfriend, Ladner resident Siu Yin Ma, were found in November 2004.

His 21-year-old stepdaughter, Rita Yeung, was murdered on July 24, 2005.

The Crown alleged that Kembo, a refugee from Malawi, killed all four as part of an elaborate scheme to steal their identies and set up false bank accounts.

He took out an $800,000 insurance policy on Samuel's life, which was payable to Kembo's stepson.

Too many holes in the system! What will happen in the next 10 years? This side of the world is like a gold mine to an educated criminal. 20 minute drive to the east and you can witness it first hand hoodlums driving in 40-50k vehicles.

who's to blame

Blame our immigration laws.
Send them all back to their violent countries.
instead we open our boarders and they bring their violence here.
convicted criminals need to be deported to their home land countries prisons NOT ours.
