The former senior counselor to Donald Trump is being vilified over social media today.
That's because TikTok posts by Kellyanne Conway's 16-year-old daughter Claudia have gone viral.
In the posts, Conway is heard screaming at the teenager. Conway is also heard insisting that contrary to Claudia's claims, she did not contract COVID-19 from the president.
"You're lucky your mom is pro-life," Conway says at one point, igniting tremendous anger over social media.
The Straight has chosen not to post video showing how Conway is treating her daughter, who's a minor.
After showing the tirades, Claudia posted another video saying her objective wasn't to get people to hate her mother.
"I just think it's important to tell my side of the story and my experiences," Claudia said, adding that she has "hundreds and hundreds" of videos just like that.
"I thought it was important because as a woman who has such power in this country, I don't think people know how she is."
Conway wanted to spend more time with her children
Shortly before last year's Republican National Convention, Conway announced her looming resignation as counselor to the president.
"Our four children are teens and ‘tweens starting a new academic year, in middle school and high school, remotely from home for at least a few months," Conway said in a statement at the time. "As millions of parents nationwide know, kids 'doing school from home' requires a level of attention and vigilance that is as unusual as these times.
"This is completely my choice and my voice. In time, I will announce future plans. For now, and for my beloved children, it will be less drama, more mama."
Conway's husband George is a contributing columnist to the Washington Post and cofounder of the Lincoln Project. It's a group of former Republicans dedicated to battling Trumpism in America.
