Market snapshot: Downtown, Mount Pleasant, Kitsilano top Vancouver home sales in last two weeks

      A total of 121 homes were sold in Vancouver in the last 15 days.

      This is based on market tracking by fisherly.com from July 11 to around 10:30 a.m. Sunday (July 26).

      Following Vancouver in the number of sales during the same period were Surrey, with 76 transactions, and Richmond, 37.

      The average price of homes sold in Vancouver in the last two weeks was $1,291,209, according to fisherly.com.

      Three neighbourhoods accounted for more than 30 percent of homes sales in the city.

      These are Downtown, Mount Pleasant, and Kitsilano.

      There were 14 Downtown deals, which included a two-bedroom, two-bath condo unit listed by Sutton Group-West Coast Realty and sold for $1,438,000.

      The 3203-233 Robson Street property is part of the TV Tower 2 development by Concord Pacific.

      The condo was listed on June 22, 2020 for $1,488,000. It sold on July 12.

      Mount Pleasant accounted for 13 sales.

      These included a penthouse apartment at 607-233 Kingsway, which sold for $1,020,000.

      Coldwell Banker Prestige Realty listed the condo unit on June 6, 2020 for $998,000. It sold on July 17.

      The two-bedroom, two-bath property was previously listed on May 26, 2020 for $1,168,000. The listing was terminated.

      Kitsilano saw 10 homes sold from July 11 to mid-morning of Juky 26, based on fisherly.com tracking.

      One was a half-duplext at 2277 West 15th Avenue. It was listed by One Percent Realty Ltd., and sold for $2 million.

      The three-bedroom, three-bath property sold on July 18. It was listed on July 14 for $1,998,000.

      A June 27, 2020 listing for the half-duplex put the price at $2,129,000. This listing was terminated. 

      This 2277-West 15th Avenue half-duplex listed by One Percent Realty Ltd. sold for $2 million.
