Friends, family, and police are concerned about a female teenager who has not been seen since yesterday.

The New Westminster Police Department stated that 14-year-old Jaida Franklin was last seen in the Sapperton neigbourhood of New Westminster on September 23.

She is described as a Filipino Canadian female who is 155 centimetres (five-feet, one-inch) tall with a slim build and black hair with highlights.

She may be wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, baggy pants, and white Converse shoes.

Anyone who sees her or knows of her whereabouts to call 911 immediately.
