      March 27:

Family, friends, and police on Vancouver Island are concerned about the well-being and safety of a female teenager who hasn’t been seen since Monday.

Nanaimo RCMP stated today (March 27) that they are searching for 16-year-old Trisha Harry, who uses the name Trish.

She was last seen around 10 p.m. on March 23 when she left her north Nanaimo home.

All efforts to find her have failed to determine her location.

As she has friends and family in the North Cowichan area, investigators are looking into the possibility that she may have travelled there.

Nanaimo RCMP stated that the photo provided is not a recent one.

She is described as a First Nations female who is 157 centimetres (five-feet, two-inches) tall with long black hair. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants, and was carrying blue backpack.

Anyone who has information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 or the closest RCMP detachment.
