      UPDATE: New Westminster police say they've located Maverick Moser, a 10-year-old who went missing on September 3.

      A nonverbal boy living with obsessive-compulsive disorder went missing late this afternoon (September 3) in New Westminster.

      According to New Westminster police, Maverick Moser was last seen around 5:30 p.m. near 6th Avenue and 5th Street.

      The 10-year-old was wearing a burgundy sweatshirt, blue sweat pants, and black shoes with white soles.

      He's five feet tall with a medium build and black short hair and bangs.

      The boy may take transit and sometimes frequents parks, playgrounds, and elevators.

      “Friends and family are very concerned for Maverick’s safety,” Sgt. Sanjay Kumar said in a news release. “We’re asking everyone to help us look for him and call 9-1-1 without delay if you see him.”
