There’s always a catch.

A manufactured home was listed for $1, and the 800-square-foot residence came fully loaded.

The Keller Williams Elite Realty listing says the Maple Ridge residence has two bedrooms, two baths, and a “gorgeous deck and covered patio lounge area with to die for views of the Alouette River”.

The double wide modular home also features a large and fully equipped kitchen, and has its own laundry room.

However, the residence is not being sold as a standalone property.

It has to be bought as part of a bigger offering, which involves a detached home and a separate cottage with a listed price of $3,640,000.

This means that a buyer would be getting a three-residence property with a manufactured home, a five-bedroom main house, and a one-bedroom cottage at the back.

The Maple Ridge property has 22586 129 Avenue for its address.

The three homes sit on a 2.06-acre site or 0.8 hectare.

The separate listing by Keller Williams Elite Realty for the main home and cottage notes that the place has a “private beachfront on a gentle bend in the Alouette River”.

“Many extras and special features that they are far too numerous to list here but know that this manicured, parklike property features gardens and a pond along with covered decks and patios with outdoor heating,” the text states.

Moreover, “Property could be the ultimate revenue prop, Air BNB, or just what a discerning large family requires for a rural lifestyle with actual great fishing available from your property which extends across the river.”

Keller Williams Elite Realty explained that there are different owners, hence the separate but related listings for the modular home and the principal residence.

The manufactured home sold for $1, and the main home went for $3.4 million.

The Maple Ridge real estate has a 2022 assessment of $2,557,037.
