There's been a new development in the investigation of the homicide of Trina Hunt, a Port Moody woman whose remains were found on March 29 near Silver Creek in Hope.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team tweeted on Sunday (June 6) that search warrants had been executed at homes in Port Moody and in Mission.

      No arrests have been made.

Her husband reported her missing on January 18. Their home in Port Moody was the site of one of the searches.

The house in Heritage Woods has been cordoned off with police tape.

A week ago, family members offered a reward of $50,000  for new information that leads to an arrest and charge against her killer.

"Someone murdered our Trina. Someone took her life," family members said at the time. "Please think back to the weekend of January 15th. Trina was found in Hope, B.C., south of Silver Creek. Did you see or hear something out of the ordinary? Do you know something, anything?"
